Food Network's "Food Nation with Bobby Flay" turns its camera on Baltimore with an episode featuring city restaurants and personalities on July 17th at 9:00 PM and 12:00 Midnight EDT. The episode was shot in various locations around Baltimore including the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill and Fells Point areas. Personalities featured on the show include local chefs, Mayor Martin O'Malley and "Best of Baltimore" (Baltimore City Paper Readers Poll) singer/songwriter Angela Taylor. Each episode of this weekly half-hour program with Chef Bobby Flay explores the culture of food in a different city, town, or state in the US. Flay acts as host, reporter, guide, and chef while taking viewers through a culinary experience and history unique to each region. Along the way, Flay introduces hometown chefs who explain the origins of local cuisines and help him prepare traditional dishes that are native to each area.
The July 17th episode was shot in various locations around Baltimore, including: "Best of Baltimore" Singer/Songwriter Angela Taylor will perform her original music throughout the July 17th episode of Food Network's Food Nation with Bobby Flay. Taylor will sing original songs from her new album "Songs for Strong Girls" released June 2001, as well as an original song composed for the episode.
